Niamh O’Malley’s Flag is specially made to expand the community of Supporters and contribute to fundraising for Ireland at Venice 2022. The artwork has been supported and editioned by Black Church Print Studio in Temple Bar, Dublin.
This whole project was a community effort between BCPS, TBG&S and Niamh O’Malley. It has been a great way for Black Church Print Studio to feel involved in the Venice project!
This work is very much in Niamh’s visual language. This print includes 3 print layers: 1 translucent yellow screen print layer, 1 woodblock print of a solid shape, 1 solid screen print slim vertical line,
Master printmakers from Black Church Print Studio include: Louise Peat, Alan Crowley and David McGinn. This edition is now available for the public to purchase via TBG&S website.
