The Library Project, 4 Temple Bar, Dublin 2

Levitating in the Nauman, 2021, performers Lauren Kelly and Aoife O’Callaghan.

A Sarah Pierce performance of Levitating in the Nauman, with demonstrations by Lauren Kelly and Aoife O’Callaghan, will take place throughout the evening on 17
September between 6.30 and 8.30pm, viewable from the street through the windows of The Library Project, 4 Temple Bar, Dublin.

This performance is part of Black Church Print Studio current exhibition Fade to Black.

Sarah Pierce is an artist based in Dublin. Since 2003 she has used the term The Metropolitan Complex to describe her projects, characterised by forms of
gathering, both historical and those she initiates. The processes of research and presentation that she undertakes demonstrate a broad understanding of
cultural work and a continual renegotiation of the terms for making art, the potential for dissent, and self determination.
