Biography

Janine Davidson, B.A, H.Dip, MFA.

Her work has also been exhibited in Hong Kong, Johannesburg, New York, Nice, Stockholm and extensively across Ireland.

Davidson has completed residencies at the Firestation Artists Studios, Dublin, The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin and Digital Arts Studios, Belfast. Projects have been funded by Arts Council of Ireland, the British Council, CDETB, Digital Hub, Dormant Account Funds, Dublin City Council Community Grants, Dublin Port Authority, Fundación Botín, National Learning Network, Royal Ulster Academy and Grangegorman Development Agency. In 2018 Davidson received the Arts Council Travel and Training Award to complete a residency at the Carmabi Foundation and facilitated a two day workshop at Instituto Buena Bista, Curaçao.

Janine Davidson practice explores individual experience and collective memory, the social space in which we learn and how we learn from each other.
