Statement

In a state of disorientation and searching for belonging, I explore the complex relationship between space and identity. I create unpretentious vignettes that are curiously daring rather than simply documenting. My work intertwines real historical events with personal experiences, exploring past realities through architecture, fashion, and societal moods. I focus on the appearance and disappearance of these traces—often pulled from old analogue photographs of long-gone people, places, and climates. My art reflects on impermanence, asking: “Was it all worth it?”
