Statement

Emma Fitzpatrick’s work is influenced by the remote landscapes of Ireland’s west coast, dramatic weather, a primal sense of place, and traces of human presence. Deliberate, structured linework is set against fluid, painterly marks, exploring the fragile balance between control and the unpredictability of the natural world.
