Professional Development: Guided Tour of ‘Picasso: From the Studio’

Guided tour of Picasso: From the Studio

National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin 2

As part of an ongoing programme of professional development for Black Church Print Studio members, a group of studio members recently attended a tour of Picasso: From the Studio in the National Gallery of Ireland (in collaboration with the Musée National Picasso-Paris) with NGI tour guide Manuel McCarthy Valderrama.

The exhibition is a major monographic exhibition of the work of Pablo Picasso, and features paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and works on paper, as well as photographic and audio-visual works.

In recent years, BCPS members have attended guided curatorial tours of Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone – The Art of Friendship and Turning Heads: Rubens, Rembrandt and Vermeer at the National Gallery of Ireland.
