Cara Donaghey

My practice is firmly drawing based, which means my work in Black Church is mostly etching. I’m interested in the emotional resonance of places, and the visual patterns of these places, using the landscape of Donegal as a starting point. My work also focuses on the operative aspects of “archiving” this sense of place by collecting, preserving and mediating images and drawings.
